When Your Portion Seems Small

Do you feel like the portion that God has given you is small?

I’m pretty familiar with the feeling of insignificance. What do I have of real value to bring to the table?

It never fails, when you begin to feel insignificant, you also see your hands as empty with few talents or gifts to give. Like God forgot to give you the “extra” that He gave another woman.

Did God skip over us?

Maybe it’s a matter of choosing to see significance in a different portion. David saw it (even through times of discontentment) He knew that WHO anchored him and made him significant was far more important than WHAT anchored him, “LORD, You alone are my portion and my cup.” Ps.16:5

With Jesus, your Portion is big enough to move mountains. Significance? You’re more than enough. Talents? Only if God doing anything at anytime through you counts for anything.

Enjoy your Portion today, not because of what you have but because of Whose you are. Ask Him to move and then enjoy His company- there is nothing else on earth that even compares. ❤️

With Love,

Em
